Crazy, Stupid, Love.

If Steve Carell’s in it, it’s got to be funny right? Right. Steve Carell could easily be ranked near the top of the comedic Hollywood actors/producers. And surely this time, he did not let our hopes down. Crazy, Stupid, Love could be labeled as a comedic drama or a dramatic comedy, which better suits your style, but undoubtedly the movie delivers several laughs, intense emotional scenes, and romantic (though funny) love scenes.
Each character is unique, deep. and dynamic. Even Ryan’s character Jacob Palmer who seems to appear as a typical shallow, spoiled, overly dressed show-off at first proves to be otherwise in the end. Steve Carell’s interactions with other characters (mostly Ryan’s) is definitely the cause of the comedy side. But when it’s time to be serious, all the cast shows promising performances, and pulls you closer to the screen as if you’re a part of the intense scene. I’ve got to admit, though, that I did get frustrated at times with the kid, Jonah Bobo, not because of him, but because of his outstanding performance of his character.
“Crazy, Stupid, Love” is definitely a good choice to get some good laughs.
What’s a high school senior got to do?
Posted: October 27, 2011 Filed under: The 'Me' Stuff Leave a commentYou must’ve guessed it! Yes. I am a high school senior. The typical kind that is… Confused, doubtful, unsure.
Those three words basically sums up my senior year mindset. The cause is probably because I haven’t had much worldly experiences. I do okay in school, kept my GPA above 3 throughout high school. But it’s just that I’ve spent so many hours on T.V. , net surfing, computer games… the usual sidetrack stuff. I know this is normal and some people don’t find out their dream career until they’re well into their thirties.
Journalism, entertainment media, and communication management. These are the three programs I’ve been considering to study in college, granted I get in all three! The main objective of me starting this blog is just to practice writing and publishing things online, see if I actually enjoy writing.
So I don’t know much about writing ,or blogging for that matter, and I’d be glad to take any advice or comments!
Thanks for reading my first blog post ever!
